If entropy always increases then how is abiogenesis and further, evolution, possible?

You can deduce from this that everything should trend towards become simple atoms, with planets eventually breaking up and becoming evenly distributed as atoms among the universe as this is the natural equilibrium of things.

So how then, can something as complex as life not only exist, but continue to evolve if entropy is real? Surely we should trend towards extinction, and decomposition until eventually all life reduces to just singular atoms that are spread out inanimately.
