It's like "I am the king" or gay preachers saying "I am absolutely definitely indisputably not gay" or liars who go out of their way to give you tons of irrelevant details to convince you of something.
I know some of it may just be trolling/satire/bait, but in general, the more someone is brazenly outspoken about how absolutely certain they are about some contrarian and shocking fact, the less you should trust them.
