This picture looks remarkably like a network of neurons. Could the universe at a grand scale possibly be some sort of collosal computer or brain? Or is this similarity simply just a result of the same standard patterns popping up when observing collections of structures on a larger scale?

n.b. - i dont actually think the whole universe is some alien's brain or any of that shit. Just entertaining the idea
