I have been wondering about something. Is it possible that some event, ANY event WHATSOEVER will take place in nature and which would be one that physicists were not expecting for? For example, the universe has been created by itself, without any external cause, so could it be that some time in the future, something happens that no one was expecting for?(I'm ruling out any supernatural causes. They have no relevance here because i'm interested about this from purely scientific/materialistic perspective).
