I do oppose censorship and digital manipulation, but the US does it too. Why do you think everyone got on board with the whole Chinese 5G switch ? because they all know they are already spied on by Americans.
Not saying it isn't wrong, but its hypocritical to pretend like we are any better. The only place were we are objectively better is on social issues, which is good.
On Economic matters they are objectively better than us. In the last 40 years the bottom 50% of their population had an income increase of 40%, while in the US we lost 1%. I care a lot about inequality, but our administration does not.
