However said engine is a block design from VAG where 6 cylinders are arranged in a narrow angle, narrow enogh to share a common head.
Yet wide enough to not realy be an inline engine and fit into engine bays meant for transverse 4-cylinder engines.
The Apfelbeck head is a certain 4-valve design where the intake valves sit opposed to each other instead of next to each other.
In my design there are three camshafts to drive the valves, one central and two on the outer edge of the cylinder head.
The valves are conected to vertical ports and have three intake manifolds, running above the camshafts and two exaust manifolds running above the cylinder banks.
