I wanna learn math. Start pre algebra, then algebra, pre calculus and calculus. Let's say 1hr work a day. How long till I'm a proficient at using scientific math that won't leave me a noob?

Better to measure it by "one section in the book
than "one hour of study." I always try to do whole sections. They are usually short in textbooks.

Skip the prealgebra and jump straight into his algebra. That will take at least 20-30 hours total for a good understanding. Then Do precalc which should take 40-50hours for a solid understanding. Then after those do Set Theory, Calculus and Linear Algebra at the same time, this should take minimum 100 hours to be really good. In total your journey will take anywhere between 160-180 hours overall. Idek what prealgebra means but I'm guessing that's basically intro to powers and fractions without letters lol in which case you can pick that up along the way.

Skipping trig is terrible for calc. It's not that bad; it's mostly just memorizing and manipulating identities.

Skip all of that.
Learn a programming language.
It will take you just as long and be just as hard but you will have learnt all of that + how to code in the end.

Learning a while loop is a lot easier then learning a summation.

Get a math textbook and at least one section per day (Something like AoPS) and then after a month, do two sections a day, try every problem and focus on going slow and getting everything right if you can, but you will be wrong a lot and that's okay.
