Do the planets experience a tiny amount of drag from interacting with the solar wind? If the sun didn't become a red giant, assuming they didn't eject each other in tidal interactions would they all spiral inwards on the scale of billions of years?
Similarly, does the solar system experience drag from the interstellar medium? Without other interactions would it slowly decay towards sagittarius a* over a few trillion years?
