They want you to know how to use the Dewey Decimal system, not how to find information.
>primary sources aren't valid!This is so that discussion pages on Wikipedia don't turn into "what did he mean by this????" arguments with spergs playing etymology games with each other. Secondary sources neuter that because "X said Y said Z" isn't something that you can Talmudically argue over, they either said it or they didn't.
I feel like these two mistakes have totally poisoned peoples minds, especially plebbitors.
