volume integrals mate
These three types of integrals are bound together with three laws of vector calculus
I present to you.....
Gradient theorem:
Curl Theorem:
Divergence Theorem:
Gradient Theorem is the fundamental theorem of line integrals.
Curl theorem relates a surface integral to a line integral around the boundary of that surface.
Divergence Theorem relates a volume integral to a surface integral over the surface of that volume.
These are all extraordinarily important properties you can use in vector calculus, which is extremely useful in electrodynamics in particular.
