if the particle pattern of the double slit experiment is caused by the measurement device interacting with the waves being observed that would mean the energy of the observation interaction is whats causing the wave to produce a particle like pattern.
would observations using less energy produce slightly measurably different wave pattern or does any observation with any amount of energy above cause the wave pattern to be destroyed and produce the exact same particle pattern.
for example if you "observed" some particle A by bouncing particles of different masses of it would it produce a different pattern particle or is it a binary situation where any observation using any particle with any energy results in the interference pattern being erased and producing one consistent particle pattern?
