Hey folks, I'm a physics major, feeling like I'm gonna change to mechanical engineering. Is this a bad move? I just kinda want to use what I learn in a real world scenario. But I'm worried I'm gonna end up designing pens or some shit.

If you want to make cool shit then ya it's a good move to change into an engineering major, but it's not like you can't get the engineering jobs with a physics major. It's a bit harder but still entirely possible. If you still want to do physics but also want to do an engineering major I would suggest electrical or nuclear engineering.
