/Biz/ anon here. With a big of /g/ as well. Full disclosure; I'm trying to build an advanced blockchain that would be a self-replicating chain. I want to follow laws of nature and science and believe database practices, some of the best, can be observed with DNA and RNA. I'm looking for certain laws of science, genetics and mathematics that can be applied to developing a database since after all, DNA is just code for a database in all reality.

Can you show me some examples within nature and some examples in genetics of self-replication? Or self-healing? As well as how bodies combat viruses. I'm also keen to see examples of self-forming structures in space and within the universe. I'm looking for "code" or practices I could convert into the real world from observing the real world.
