The marbled crayfish has been discovered in the 1990's. It is a parthenogenetic, all-female species of crayfish closely related to Florida slough crayfish composed solely of identical female clones. It has been tracked to a bag of crayfish brought from America 30 years ago, then something happened and they started cloning themselves.
