What are one or two good, affordable books on mathematical logic and/or set theory for a beginner? I'm planning on getting Naive Set Theory by Halmos since I've seen it recommended quite a bit and it's only $12, along with How to Prove it, but I can't find any books on mathematical logic that are under 50.

Introduction to Mathematical Logic by Elliott Mendelson is a pretty good book. I say it go for $ 30-40 on ebay. If you can't find it there it's always on libgen.

Maybe I should start looking on Ebay more for books, on Amazon and new on Ebay this one is $100, but there's at least one here for ~$10 with good condition. I get a little autistic about markings/writing on the inside of used books, but there's one for $40 here that's in very good condition.

Don't use Halmos, there are not enough exercises. Use Enderton's book for both set theory and mathematical logic, there are pdfs out there are libgen. There is also the open logic project and open set theory project, which are giant open access pdfs covering mathematical logic and set theory.

I already ordered the Naive Set Theory book, does it cover all the same things as in Enderton's book? If so, I could finish the exercises in Halmos's book then use the pdf for Enderton's. I'll use his book for logic though if that's so, or Mendelson's as the other anon recommended above. I'll check out the projects too, thanks.
