Unless you have some severe underlying problems, just cut down your entertainment for a few weeks would help immediately.
Right now, you are having a short attention span because you are used to quick spikes of small dopamine from youtube, 4chan, video games, etc. The modern entertainment industry feeds on your short attention span (more clicks equal more money for them).
Your mind does not have the strong muscle to endure something that is a bit boring (text).
Just block every websites that are counterproductive (4chan included). Remove video games. Or lock them and only allow access 1 hour a day.
Lock your phone in a box.
Also, fix your sleep schedule. Because waking up late and tired -> can't do shit all day -> sleep late, is a vicious cycle. If possible, tell your friend or mom or whoever to slap the fuck out of you in one morning.
Do exercise.
Always keep track of what you have done, no matter how small. I have an excel of how much weight I have pushed/pulled in the gym for that day. I can see the gain and feel content.
Meditate (basic mindfuless) would help you ease your mind. It works for me, you only need 10-20 minutes max a day. But at the beginning, for someone with a really short attention span, it is extremely difficult, but try it.
If you have any underlying problem that you might not be aware of (anxiety, depression), you may need help. There are good days that I am supposed to feel good but I just want to kill my fucking self for no reason. That is the point when I realize that I should seek help.
