What's stopping us from doing large scale computational chemistry and finally putting an end to the messy gibberish that is chemistry? Why can't we simulate protein folding for example? Is it just because it would require too much time? How much time would it take approximately to simulate an average protein? We can simulate a small molecule on the quantum level, why can't we do a bigger one?
