Is it possible to make a planet sized spaceship? That way our "planet" never dies. Just recycle everything on it.

it can in theory be done though, the sun produces so much energy that you could use it to propel the entire solar system wherever you want

you don't need to encapsulate the sun to do most of those ideas

even the basic shkadov thruster would be made of microscopically thin material, and while huge it's not that huge

the other more efficient ideas would take a lot less
