Have you played AI Dungeon yet?

It's not convincingly human yet but fuck if it isn't a bit eerie. AI such as Watson, while impressive, felt like a bit of a parlor trick and you couldn't help but feel like it was a tweaked search engine. This however is messing with my head a bit, not least because it feels like we are within 10 years of conversational AI. All this thing is lacking is a decent knowledge base of what objects are, what they are called and how they work together and at that point it's going to be fully blown AI.
