Should i ditch it altogether? Should i try some other way of taking it?
I've seen no discernable benefits to it for my hypersomnia. i wonder if it has to do with dosage or some weird resistance to the drug

What's the concern? Stop taking it if you are concerned. Check your blood sugar and pressure. Stimulants can get that stuff out of whack.
