You can imagine (it's not actually mathematically correct, but it makes for a nice visualization) all fundamental particles as naturally moving at c, but being slowed down to below c if they couple to the Higgs field, thus gaining energy in a rest frame, which we now call mass. Furthermore, 99% of the mass(-energy) making up protons and neutrons (i.e. you, planets, stars and whole galaxies) isn't even mass from the Higgs field, but rather chromodynamic binding energy holding together their constituent quarks.
So all that gravity the Earth is exerting on us? Not coming from Higgs mass, but pure binding energy of quarks. We call this energy mass because it doesn't vanish when the proton is at rest. The photon (and graviton if they exist) is a particle with energy like any other, but they do not stand still. They move at c, so we don't call what they have "mass".
