>In the United States, the COVID epidemic is now the second-worst in the developed world and among the dozen worst globally. The epidemic will get considerably more intense in just the next few weeks. Red states and Blue states will experience almost identical epidemics.
The only thing that there is any evidence in support of is vitamin D. There's about a 20-30% higher chance of dying if you're deficient, which means that taking vitamin D supplements, along with plenty of regular hydration and a normal amount of calories can improve your odds by 16.6% to 25%. Iron supplements, if you don't have enough iron, can probably give you an extra 1% or 2% on top of that.
If you live in the continental USA and haven't already had SARS-Cov-2, it's statistically likely that it's incubating inside you right now. The odds of survival are around 99% for under 40s without preexisting respiratory or lung problems, but that's no reason to get cocky. 99% survival is more lethal than skydiving.
