The world is definitely changing. From the coronavirus epidemic forcing millions of businesses and people to adapt their daily routines to protests and riots over police brutality. That's not to exclude rising sea levels due to man-made climate change, space exploration, automation, new governmental legislature on the horizon like UBI, and so forth. It appears that one tiny discovery could unlock the biggest change of them all. Generations.

It seems like the more society continues to exists the elder population love to worry and blame the younger ones. In the nineties to early noughties the focus was on Generation X, then it was shifted to the Millennials or Generation Y, and now we're once again seeing the shift onto Generation Z. Slowly but surely we'll see the spotlight shift from Gen Z to Generation Alpha. What about the generation after them? It appears that we may have to start calling them the Trans Parent Generation as surgeons have apparently cracked the secret that would allow transgender women, that is male-to-female persons, to finally be able to give birth to their own biological children.

This may only be speculation for now as only one confirmed case of success doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be widely available, but this does tell us that something thought to only be possible in works of fiction or far into the future may be possibly by the end of the decade. We may indeed be looking at the first generation of children whose birth parents are transgender. What sort of ripple effect would this have on society at large? Leave your import below.
