No better or worse than people that drink in moderation. Some drugs are worse than others. A little bit pot here and there is fine. A little bit of psychedelics here and there is fine. Benzos and opiates feel great but they’re highly addictive. If you can control your use then why the hell not. Stimulants are pretty taxing on the body, especially your heart. I don’t recommend those to anyone.

weed has been proven to cause permanent damage to verbal intelligence and motor skills in adolescents, in adults it doesn't seem to be as deleterious. I have never felt as if marijuana made me more lucid or capable of abstraction. It does certainly "improve" the ease of associative thinking but without any of the logical filtration you would need to do anything with that kind of free flowing ideation. If you're over 25 I don't think occasional smoking will harm you too much, not anymore than light social drinking would.
