Not OP. Anons I'm having difficulty solving even the first chapter exercises of Concrete Mathematics as a CS undergrad. What can I do to improve my base? Are there any other books that I should start with first?

I haven't done Concrete Math yet, but the advice I usually see mentions ensuring you've got a good understanding of proofs and calculus, that should be enough to do the entire book.
