take statics, mechanics of materials (stress & strain), chemistry classes, do you have nanoscience? probably not, but that, quantum mechanics & quantum chem. Electron microscopy. Dynamics (for charpy v notch & other dynamic tests), boundary element analysis & finite element analysis
