Hello nerds, utterly insignificant /v/tard whelp here, what's the degree to which the science of Half-Life is rooted in actual tangible scientific theory, do you as a group of well learned, theoretical physicists think it'd ever be possible that we fuck up in some lab somewhere and bring about the advent of an abstract transdimensional alien empire? How would that be possible in the first place? Predominantly asking because as a bored first worlder, I for one would relish the opportunity to throw away my meagre existence fighting aliens.
