if you want to become a physicist eventually then it will be a bit different. there will be more math and you will want to get into a research lab as soon as you can for the best chances to get into a good phd program. research is sort of like lab classee you might take but more open ended and cooler projects that you might not even understand at first but you will catch up. if you love the field and want to become a physicist than just work hard to shore up any deficiencies you may have in math or physics and you should be fine.
to help you look forward to phd applications, your focus should be:
research >> letters of recommendation (be good with professors) > gpa >= gre
if you have tons of research experience and professors that say you are competent enough to be a researcher then the gpa and gre wont matter as much
