It’s not safe.
It is normalized when you are very young. “This is safe, take this pill” where in 99% of cases those people just need life changes (more exercise, better diet, better parents, harder or easier school lvls).

If you are capable of making yourself a tenured professor, you are not disabled enough to need pills, you could take yourself down several lvls of career and be less stress and still make very good money.
