I chose Chemical Engineering over more truly enjoyable subjects because I wanted a balance of job security and interest while only needing 4 years in school.
now less than 2 years after undergrad i'm burnt out on bullshit bachelor industry work and instead trying to get into grad programs. But I want a PhD in something more "pure" than ChemE, and I'd have an easier time if I'd stuck to my interest in the first place
