There are multiple different reason someone can be indifferent. Some are indifferent because they're goal oriented and thus don't care about "small stuff". Others lack the required effort to give a fuck. Some don't want to waste any energy/effort on shit that don't matter to their immediate needs. Still others simply are preoccupied with other stuff.
