I was pretty baffled when I learned about the problem of gimbal lock and the solution: the quaternions.

It was hard for me to finally read up on it because the word just seemed so otherworldy...

I honestly have trouble accepting scientific theories which use the letter 'Q' as initial and I really think I'm not the only one.

quantum, quarks, quaternions... it sounds extremely ridiculous and sometimes I it really makes me wanna slap the inventor for naming it so.
