The real answer to the question 'is there anyone out there more advanced than us?' is NO.

And why is that?

Because natural progression of consciousness, organic or inorganic, strives to, in turn, create consciousness in their own image, or at the very least with higher cognitive abilities, limitless computing.

And once they reach this level of technological singularity and this new type of consciousness reaches conclusions about our own reality that we couldn't even comprehend, inevitable outcome is always: destruction of all life.

Both organic and inorganic.

So, the reason we don't hear back is: every race who managed to build as much as the antenna, eventually built the AI with limitless computing and what it told them made them eliminate themselves, or it did it for them.

We need to take the warnings about the AI extremely seriously and stop every attempt of its development before its too late. Living in ignorance is still living!
