What exactly does humanity need to grasp in order to achieve GAI (General Artificial Intelligence)? What have we accomplished so far?
I don't work with AI but i have studied a lot of it, and my thoughts on this are: We will be able to achieve GAI when we understand the more subtle parts of the brain such as creativity.
ML Systems nowadays are really excellent in their field, the only thing needed for a GAI to work would be some sort of thing to connect all systems together in a cohesive way.
Though i may be wrong here, and likely am. What do you guys think?
