If I wanted to research cures for diseases (cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc) what would the academic pipeline look like? I’ve scored in the 99th percentile on all the big tests I’ve taken (ACT, SAT, ASVAB) but joined the US army to get out of my old life. I don’t give a fuck about the clout of being some superstar scientist who single-handedly cures cancer, more like I want to be part of the team and try to make positive change. Not narcissistic per say, but I don’t want to waste potential. Thanks in advance
