Ignore the black boxes, if you do you can build a commutative system of addition, it works on both column and row and it goes like this:
-stripped box+white box = stripped box
-white box + white bow = white box
-stripped box + stripped box = white box
Answer is D.
Black boxes can be ignored because they only appear at the upper left.
