on a serious note though, that alligator salamander eel fuck was optimal about land and migrated to it from the water. Whales on the other hand evolved from dogs who were too lazy to walk so they swam and evolved to the point in which their hind legs were absorbed into the whale's bum.

I think whale evolution is fascinating. l would describe it more as [dog]-> [river otter]-> [sea otter]-> [seal]-> [whale].

I don't think an Orca could beat me in a fistfight or outrun me in a race, the Kutchicetus could kick my ass. Even in water the Orca I would imagine would be similar to an alligator or crocodile in that you can circle around it to avoid it and get on top.

Now I'm basing everything on combat and survival here, Orcas are smart but they don't have the limbs to exert that intellect like a human or octopus.

An orca has no reason to ever go on land, it completely dominates a much much larger ecosystem, and you wouldn't last 5 seconds in the water with an Orca.
