>anyone with a degree is a sheepleor
>anyone without a degree is a brainletare not worth responding to with the equivalent of
>not necessarily. here is my sensible middle ground positionit may not be wrong, as a response, but it is retarded, and it makes you a retard. the very act of writing your post is causally making you stupid. those conversations are ruining your ability to think in high resolution. it is bad for you in the same way that reading bad novels will give you shit taste and reading good novels will develop your taste.
there are things so dumb, that even the counterargument that proves that they are dumb is an insult to intelligence, and when you habitually produce things that insult intelligence you become dumber, because you have to think it in order to post it. doing this has made you slightly worse. your level of discourse will affect your level of thought. you cannot avoid this effect. you cannot neutrally do things. the things that you do change the way that you are.
you may object that discussing elementary ideas is philosophically important, but even the elementary notions in philosophy are discussed at greater granularity than this. you were not wrong to object to anon, but your objection should have been aimed at the level of resolution of his thought. you should have told anon that he is not even wrong.
the fact that you even thought that your reply is a worthwhile dialectical move, shows that you do not find this conversation boring, and therefore you must be retarded for participating in it. consider as a thought experiment the many stupid posts on this board that you will not even bother responding. those posts are beneath you, and the people who respond to them are beneath you, aren't they? you are now such a person. i am guilty of this. i'm not a clever person, but reading this exchange is rotting my brain. too many posts on this board are like this, and i hate it.
