China can't into seaborne troops, and you think they'll be able to stage an invasion from one planet to another? Space is the most hostile environment possible, and stealth is nearly impossible in space as well since you have to radiate to move. they send a troop carrier, mars defenders poke it full of holes before it passes the halfway mark and then push the hulk of it's intercept course with laser ablative heating. The wreck is tagged as a navigational hazard and forgotten about.

Nah it's a totally different setting.
Closest would be Necromunda but it's much more far west/post apocalyptic.
Cyberpunk is today unironically, but without the cool aesthetic and gadgets.
