I felt this on memorial day. when it seemed we all decided it was time to go outside again, against the whims of the state. no number of police, or tanks, or nukes, or whatever the fuck, could stop everyone from going outside if they all went outside together and at once. lo and behold. it's a testament to their skill, the sophistication of the method and intergenerational transmission, that they ever got us to wonder just who was in charge in the first place
