Anything that isn't concerned with this is not science and anything that isn't science has nothing to say about reality. This is why CS, philosophy, politics, economics, engineering, art, religion are not able to generate actual knowledge and do not have anything to say about science or nature. We can use them to organize our lives and our vision of the world but anything that is strictly speaking true that we believe or adhere to is science, and anything that is otherwise is not. This isn't to say science is an actual 1:1 of the Real it is just the only approximation that is even remotely correspondent to the Real.
