CICO is a pseudoscience. It's the amount of energy required to heat up water, it has no relevance to the human body. The body is regulated by hormones and can easily regulate its energy expenditure to compensate for a decrease in caloric intake. Humans have been fasting for millions of years, it's the natural thing to do. You're not going to lose weight on a 1 calorie deficit. I once stopped losing weight eating 3 meals a week, so much for CICO, heh. Man up and start fasting.
