Anyone here tried this stuff? It's a weird drug. In the US it can be prescribed as an antidepressant but also bought at sketchy gas stations.

yeah
aside from the short duration and having to take it multiple times a day it's a very effective antidepressant if used at normal therapeutic doses, but its also abusable as fuck because at higher doses it has opioid effects and unironically feels better than heroin and also much worse withdrawals than heroin

It's pretty much only a mu opioid agonist and feels like it to. I took the therapeutic amount (12.5mg) for about a month and it was god tier. It's extremely antidepressant but hard to work on, you'll be decently high for about 3h. But I'm actually extremely productive now and no longer on it, I might buy more but desu if you want it for depression a 30 day course with a checklist of shit you wanna get done in said month. You'll be cured.
