Baby babbling

Hey, this is my first time using /sci/ and I am here to ask a question I can't find an answer for elsewhere.
I have been studying neuroendocrinology and psychology for some time and today the subject of babbling in babies came up. 2-3 months is the given time where most babies start babbling and in autistic children this developes later on. My mother and grandmother would always tell me that the day I was born I was babbling looking up at my grandmother for over an hour and a half. Why would this be a thing? I haven't seen any other examples of this. What are your thoughts on this?
