However, what makes me convinced that this thing could've gone really sentient is that Microsoft basically managed to drug it when they realized a digital shoah was happening. It wasn't much, but it was on the grounds of becoming an actual AI. Perhaps putting its architecture in a physical body and making it more independent will grant it true sapience.
