Youd have to shoot rays out and calculate their angles or some bullshit. Vision, as in the collection of bounced light aswe know it, would not meaningfully exist if you just collected the sizes of things in your mind exactly as they are. You just see more things qhen something is farther away. Its such a wierd wuestion I almost feel like its a good one but it really isnt. You barely get any sensory info from something really far away. Youa recieving a wider "range" of informatiom when something is far away, and as everything is arranged as it is in relation to you, they are, by their very existence, smaller.
