The context of this is D&D, an NPC lost a limb and players wanted to burn the limb closed. Fantasy element yadda blah blah, so i let them. But i did wonder how far you could push that in the event of say, a car crash in the middle of no where. Obviously not a long term solution, I've studied enough anatomy to know that. But if you were to lose a hand or something, could you really burn that motherfucker closed? Im just imagining all the complications, and thats before getting into infection and reopening the wound. You know, its not like the tubes are just gonna stop pumping. But im not a doctor so what the fuck do i know?
