That's why I didn't go into it. What if there's some huge medical breakthroguh in nanoparticles or whatever and radiotherapy is not needed anymore?

Not a huge concern of mine really.

I can code really well and have tons of machine learning experience. But those mitigating factors are secondary to me not understanding how radiation oncology would be replaced in our current environment.
