Matter is not fundamental, it's an emergant phenomenon. This was known for thousands of years. Atoms make matter, and for a long time, it was believed they were the smallest particles. But now we know not even protons and neutrons are fundamental, quarks are. Until we find proof of what quarks and leptons are made up of (if they even are) then they'll no longer be considered fundamental.

Exactly, but we'd need a grand unified theory to prove it in full. "Fundamental" is really just a defintion for the smallest thing that can't be further split and it changes as soon as we find something "more fundamental". We've come a long way in a very short amount of time, but I'm certain there is still a lot to find out. Quite possibly even things we'll never be able to find out.

They wont find a gravitron. Gravity comes by averaging the distance between matter. Its emergent from the unified equation. I didn't claim that, mass is only one of the properties. There is some truth to that though. The only difference between down and strange quarks is their tiny difference in mass. That is, the only distinguishing property of these quarks is mass
