Would any of you happen to know the name of the science, or the study, of how organisations work?
If I wanted to create an association, a volunteering group, a group of activists or even a militia, who would I need to seek advice from? And what would their field of study be called?
I only want to form a club of people that can help me pick up litter around the neighborhood. I intend to change the aim of the group after a while though, to focus on fund raising and political activism.
That being said, I want it to run in an orderly fashion. Like a well oiled machine. If I don't get everything right, I fear the organisation will fall apart when I try to steer it in a different direction, if not before that.
